{Lockdown 3.0 is making finding little joys that bit harder. But I’m determined to find a bright side… Most of the time 😉}
41/ Finally having proper bedroom furniture, after a year and a half of hanging our clothes on a rail. Parent life got our priorities scrambled
42/ The personalised book subscription my husband bought for my birthday, from Mr B’s Emporium. Can’t wait to get hand picked book post ♡
43/ And anything that smells like oranges, thanks to the Mama Mio tummy rub a friend gave me, which seems to have set off a deep yearning for citrus. Child’s Farm Tangerine bubble bath went straight into my basket yesterday as a result, and little man had a fun afternoon splashing in the bubbliest bath he’s ever had. It was great… Until he pooed. That wasn’t so fun.
44/ Half price cake Mon – Weds at Costa
45/ Snow free days.* Sorry guys.
*Black ice fear at 7 months pregnant is very real. No amount of pretty makes that worthwhile.
46/ The idea that we might one day be allowed to live normal lives again
47/ Hearing my little guy start to get a grasp on speaking (and on sign language, which he is getting very good at!!) The other day he said ‘cheese’ and I thought ‘gosh, I really have done a good job of teaching him what matters in life’ *wipes away tears of pride*
48/ Being told that the pregnancy is all looking good so far, and not getting a call after blood tests to tell me I need to take even more iron. Hallelujah!
49/ Looking at ‘tiny houses.’ Impossible with children/all the junk I own, of course, but such a cool concept
50/ Chocolate filled chocolate donuts. And homemade Katsu curry. And Wildfire pizzas. And all foods that give a little comfort in these dark times, quite honestly. Food = ♡
Happy Monday, I hope this week is kind to you all xx
