100 Happy Things

100 Happy Things {31-40}

6 December 2020 Leave a Comment

31/ Watching my toddler play with his daddy. Especially outdoors, where they have all sorts of adventures that put me a little on edge but that, also, leave Rory absolutely radiant (Ultimately making them worth all the times I have to stop myself from shouting ‘CAREFUL!’ in a high pitched fashion. They’re not even doing anything particularly risky, I just see danger everywhere since becoming a mama)

32/ The Christmas tree! And the knowledge that we will see family at Christmas, for the first time in forever

33/ Work free weekends. Covid has sent my husband’s full time work schedule up the wall, not to mention the fact he’s in the midst of launching his own business, too. The weekends he can take a step back and not have to worry about any of it are my favourite

34/ Feeling the baba move ♡

35/ Little one’s new found love of his soft toys. He cuddles them and plays games with them and drags them about the place, and it makes my heart grow three sizes each time I see it

36/ When nursery send home ‘artwork,’ to be proudly displayed on the fireplace

37/ My pregnancy pillow. Come to mama

38/ Costa pigs in blankets mac and cheese. And just pigs in blankets, honestly. And mac and cheese, if we’re being really truthful (I was gutted when EAT closed their doors this year, their jalapeno mac and cheese was to die for. Please tell me if you know what I’m talking about, and if you know where I can find similar!)

39/ Writing. I have missed it

40/ Watching Schitt’s Creek with my husband, who desperately wants to be able to imitate Moira, but hasn’t quite figured out the accent yet. You’ll get there D, keep trying babe 😉
